Burglars decamp with gold, cash worth lakhs from Kismatpur house

Burglars allegedly broke into a locked house in Kismatpur while the occupants were away in Anantapur, stealing gold and silver ornaments and cash worth several lakhs. Rajendranagar police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the theft.

Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a house in Kismatpur in Rajendranagar and decamped with gold, silver ornaments and cash worth lakhs.

Unidentified burglars allegedly broke into the house of J Subbarami Reddy at Vivekananda Colony after he left for Anantapur with his family on personal work.


Police said when the family returned on Tuesday, they found the main door lock broken.

The burglars allegedly damaged the almirah in the bedroom and stole valuables.

Based on Subbarami Reddy’s complaint, the Rajendranagar police took up investigation.
