Burglars loot gold and cash from house in Dundigal

Hyderabad: Unidentified burglars struck a house at Keerthi Homes in Bowrampet, Dundigal, and decamped with 14 tolas of gold ornaments and cash of Rs 20,000 on Tuesday night.

Police said the house owner, Krishna, had gone out with his family when the offenders broke the lock and stole the valuables. Incidentally, Krishna’s elderly mother was sleeping in the house when the incident took place.

CCTV footage showed two masked men committing the crime.

The Dundigal police have booked a case and are investigating.
