Bus collides with lorry, 30 of marriage party injured in Karimnagar
The accident happened when the newlywed couple and their relatives were returning to Hyderabad
Karimnagar: At least 30 persons of a marriage party including the bride and the groom were injured when the bus they were travelling rammed into a lorry near Indiranagar of Thimmapur mandal late on Sunday night. Six persons suffered serious injuries, police said on Monday.
The accident happened when the newlywed couple and their relatives were returning to Hyderabad after attending a function at the bride’s residence at Vedurugatta of Choppadandi mandal on Sunday.
A total of 50 persons were on the bus at the time of the accident. Out of which, 30 persons were received injuries. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to the district headquarters hospital.
