Kamareddy: In two different incidents, a leopard attacked a shepherd and calf in erstwhile Nizamabad district.
In the first incident, leopard attacked a herd of sheep and seriously injured a shepherd at Somarpaet village of Yellareddy mandal in Kamareddy district on Wednesday.
In the second incident, leopard attacked a calf and killed it at Amrad village of Makloor mandal in Nizamabad district on Wednesday. Forest officials inspected both the spots and making efforts to catch the wild cat.
Shepherd Mallesham injured in leopard attack was shifted to Yellareddy hospital on Wednesday.
