Car driving lessons go awry as learner drives into deep waters at Jangaon

Instructor and student miraculously escape freak accident as onlooker dives in to save them

Jangaon: A driving instructor and his student had a miraculous escape after the latter lost control of the car and drove it into water at Bathukamma Kunta here on Saturday.

Horrified passersby watched the white car go into the waters at high speed, apparently because the student failed to stop the vehicle as it approached the tank.

Luckily, though the car drove into deep waters, the two passengers managed to scramble out of it through the windows.

Meanwhile, an onlooker dove into the tank and rescued the student who could not swim.

The car’s electronically operated doors did not open, possibly due to a short circuit of the car wiring, but the passengers managed to lower the windowpanes and miraculously scramble out.

The entire episode was caught on video, which went viral on social media platforms.
