Hyderabad: The Gachibowli police registered a case against BRS MLA, P Kaushik Reddy for allegedly threatening the police officials on Thursday.
On Wednesday evening, the MLA had gone to the Banjara Hills police station to make a complaint alleging his phone was being tapped and he wanted the issued to be enquired.
During his visit, the MLA found the Banjara Hills Inspector, K M Raghavendra was leaving the police station following which he stopped it at the gate. The Inspector then got down from the vehicle and went into his office and took a complaint. Later, a case was registered against Kaushik Reddy for obstructing policemen at Banjara Hills police station.
On Thursday morning, a police team headed to his residence at Gachibowli to arrest him. At the house, the MLA allegedly shouted at the police that he will end his life, if police try to arrest him. The Banjara Hills police later lodged a complaint against Kaushik Reddy for allegedly threatening them.
An official of Gachibowli police station confirmed that a case was registered against Kaushik Reddy.
