CBIT celebrates SHRUTHI–2026 institute day in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Gandipet, celebrated its Institute Day “SHRUTHI–2026” with grandeur on Saturday at the Cricket Ground, CBIT.
Gundam Jahnavi, Student President, presented the report on student activities, while Prof C V Narasimhulu, Principal, CBIT, presented the Institute Report, outlining the institution’s progress, academic milestones, research contributions, industry collaborations, placements, and various accolades received during the year.
Prof G Laxmaiah, HoD – Mechanical Engineering and Chairman, SHRUTHI–2026, spoke about the significance of Institute Day.
Gunasekhar Karri, Film Director and Screen Writer, motivated students to pursue their passions with dedication and creativity. Dr K Anand Kumar, Managing Director, Indian Immunologicals Ltd, in his address, emphasised innovation, research orientation, and industry readiness among engineering graduates.
V V Lakshmi Narayana, Former Joint Director, CBI, Govt. of India, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to uphold integrity, leadership, and social responsibility in their professional journeys.
Academic awards and medals were presented to meritorious students in recognition of their outstanding performance.
