Orientation session on UPSC underway at CBIT, Gandipet.
Hyderabad: An orientation session titled ‘How to Crack Civil Services in the First Attempt – UPSC Masterclass’ was conducted at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Gandipet, in collaboration with 21st Century IAS Academy, Hyderabad.
Addressing the students, 21st Century IAS Academy Chairman P Krishna Pradeep shared insights on UPSC two-year preparation strategy and emphasised the importance of effective time management and consistent effort.
Pradeep introduced the ‘Trolley Dilemma’ – a thought experiment where a runaway trolley is heading toward five people tied on a track but can be diverted to another track where it would hit only one person. Engaging students with this dilemma, he highlighted the importance of making morally sound decisions, encouraging them to base their justifications on ethical principles and deeper reflection.
Chief Mentor of the academy Dr Bhavani Shankar highlighted the institution’s two-decade legacy in civil services coaching and spoke about the academy’s ambitious goal of achieving 20 UPSC ranks this year. Dr. GNR Prasad, Public Relations Officer, CBIT, encouraged students to make the most of such learning opportunities and emphasised the importance of absorbing key insights shared by experienced mentors.
