Hyderabad: On public demand, the Indian Silk Gallery announces the launch of the ‘2nd Indian Silk Gallery Expo’ to honour and encourage our pride — the handloom weavers from across the country.
Handloom products strive to elicit the beauty and charm of the women fraternity. The power of the skilled craftsmen is inherent in hand-crafted and hand-woven beauty one gets to witness. Their craftsmanship is sure to win the wearer’s heart.
Indian Silk Gallery Expo celebrates the invisible hand that weaves magic. The passion and devotion of weavers/ artisans across the country have helped conserve the art of weaving. Collectively as a nation, let us celebrate this art and its creators by wearing pure natural fibres (silk, cottton, and linen).
Around 50 manufacturers from 14 weaving clusters are set to display their master craftsmenship of handlooms products at Kalinga Hall, beside Jagannath temple on Road No 12, Banjara Hills. The exhibition is on from Febraury 27 to March 7.
This expo is exclusively designed for Ugadi festival and wedding shopping for the upcoming season. Check out the fascinating weaves of these master craftsmen, weavers and artisans at the expo, thereby encouraging the handloom and handicrafts industry.
