Central University of Odisha Vice-Chancellor passes away
Prof I Ramabrahmam was a retired senior faculty of University of Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Prof I Ramabrahmam, retired senior faculty of the Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) and the present Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Odisha passed away on Wednesday after being critically ill.
Prof Ramabrahmam was a PhD in Political Science from UoH and did his MA in Political Science and Public Administration from Andhra University, the UoH said in a press release. He had over 30 years of teaching experience and published over 100 research papers in national and international journals and supervised more than 20 scholars and completed many research projects, it said.
Prof Ramabrahmam worked in the areas of governance, rural development, higher education, and public policy with a focus on education policy, e-governance, e-pathasala initiatives etc., it added.
