CESS staffer attacked by villager in Sircilla over loose wires

Rajanna-Sircilla: Tension prevailed in Kancherla village of Veernapalli mandal on Wednesday when a Cooperative Electric Supply System (CESS) employee was attacked by a villager for allegedly ignoring complaints about loose electric wires.
Assistant helper Srihari had gone to the village to record power bills. However, a local resident, Dudi Rajaiah, confronted him for collecting bills without repairing the wires.
The argument escalated and Rajaiah allegedly attacked Srihari with a stick, injuring his shoulder. Other villagers rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
