Hyderabad: A chain snatcher targeted a woman and fled with her ‘mangalsutra’ at Mansoorabad in LB Nagar on Tuesday.

The woman, Radha (45), a tailor was working in her shop when an unidentified man came to her shop and after allegedly hitting her with a stone, snatched the ornament and fled.

By the time she raised an alarm, the suspect escaped. Based on a complaint, the LB Nagar police booked a case and are investigating. Footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings is being examined to identify the offender, police said.
