Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday condoled the death of legendary singer Asha Bhosle and said her extraordinary contributions to music would remain an integral part of India’s cultural heritage.
In his message, Naidu said, “Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Asha Bhosle, a legendary and versatile Indian vocalist, and the most recorded artist in music history.”
Bhosle’s contributions to music would continue to resonate through the ages, the CM said in an official release.
Naidu conveyed heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and admirers across the world.
Bhosle, 92, died in Mumbai on Sunday, a day after she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to chest infection and exhaustion.
