Vijayawada: The ACB court has once again extended the remand of former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam case. The court on Thursday gave a direction extending the remand till November 1.
Chandrababu particularly mentioned about his health and security during the hearing on the day. While the remand was to end on Thursday, the officials produced Chandrababu virtually before the ACB Judge. The Judge enquired about Chandrababu’s health to which the latter replied that he had some health issues.
Consequent on this, the Judge sought an explanation from the officials who replied that there was a medical team which was conducting tests from time to time. The Judge then asked them to submit the medical reports from time to time, and extended the remand of Chandrababu.
Chandrababu also raised doubts regarding his security to which the court suggested him to give it in writing. The Judge directed the officials to send Chandrababu’s letter in a sealed cover to him.
