Chandrayangutta leads Hyderabad in SIR enumeration form digitisation; Musheerabad lags

Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency has recorded the highest digitisation of enumeration forms in Hyderabad district under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, while Musheerabad ranked last. Overall, Hyderabad has completed 32.75% digitisation, with over 1.77 lakh electors classified as absent, shifted or dead.

Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta assembly constituency in Hyderabad district registered the highest digitisation of enumeration forms with 40.72%. In comparison, Musheerabad registered the lowest figure with 27.69% on Friday up to 10 am, according to the status reports of ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR) of the electoral process.

Out of 47,36,559 electors, 15,51,320 electors’ enumeration forms were digitised in all 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district. As per the status report provided, 32.75% of the digitisation of enumeration forms has been completed in Hyderabad district so far.


In the Chandrayangutta assembly constituency, 1,53,638 of 3,77,300 electors filled out their enumeration forms and digitization completed, making it the top constituency. The Karwan assembly constituency stood in the top two ranks as, of 3,83,910 electors, 1,37,754 electors handed over their enumeration forms and digitised them, a senior GHMC election wing official told Telangana Today.

The status report of the SIR stated that 1,77,222 electors in Hyderabad district were still found to be absent, shifted, or dead (ASD). These ASD electors can contact the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the polling stations concerned, collect the enumeration forms, and submit them duly filled by August 3. The electors need not wait till the last date of the enumeration forms’ deadline and hand them over to the BLOs soon after filling them out, said the GHMC official.

Whereas, the status report of the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana reveals that the Hyderabad district completed 31.54% of the digitisation of enumeration forms. Neighbouring districts, including Medchal-Malkajgiri district, completed 28.41%, and Ranga Reddy district completed 41.46% of digitisation till July 16.
