Charcoal Stories exhibition by Ricky Tej opens in Hyderabad
A charcoal art exhibition titled ‘Charcoal Stories’ by young artist Ricky Tej from Nagarkurnool was inaugurated at Lamakaan by B Narsing Rao. The exhibition highlights realistic drawings and mythological themes and will remain open till April 26.

Hyderabad: A charcoal art exhibition titled ‘Charcoal Stories’ by young prodigy Ricky Tej from Nagarkurnool district was inaugurated on Saturday at Lamakaan by film director and artist B Narsing Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, B Narsing Rao appreciated the talent of young Ricky Tej and lauded his ability to create highly realistic charcoal drawings, particularly his depiction of mythological themes.
Venkateshwar Rao, senior journalist from Kalwakurthy, appreciated the efforts of Balachelimi children magazine for organising the programme. Editorial Cartoonist Narsim, Telangana Today, remarked that equal importance should be given in schools to both academics and artistic pursuits, urging that such creative talents be actively encouraged among students. Dr Sahithi, Group-1 Officer, and CTO Vemula Saidulu, Headmaster of UPS, Tummalapally, and Katta Koteswara Rao, father of Ricky Tej, also participated.
The exhibition is open to the public till 6 pm on April 26.
