Charity programmes mark KTR’s birthday celebrations in Telangana’s Khammam

Former MLA Venkata Veeraiah, BRS party leaders and cadre cut a cake to mark the occasion at Khammam BRS district office; in Kothagudem, party leaders offered prayers at Sri Dasa Anjaneya Swamy temple

Khammam: Charity programmes and blood donations marked birthday celebrations of BRS working president KT Rama Rao in erstwhile Khammam on Thursday.

At a programme at Khammam BRS district office, former MLA S Venkata Veeraiah, party leaders Gundala Krishna, Bachu Vijay Kumar, K Nagabhushanam, Pagadala Nagaraju and others cut a cake marking the occasion. The party cadres also donated blood.

In Kothagudem, party leaders Damodar Yadav, K Venkateswara Rao and others offered prayers at Sri Dasa Anjaneya Swamy temple at Lakshmidevipalli mandal headquarters. Later, they cut a cake; distributed milk, fruits and bread to patients at Government General Hospital and to elders at an old age home.

Former municipal chairperson Kapu Seethalakshmi distributed note books to students at a government school at Patha Kothagudem. At Paloncha, BRS leaders Kampelli Kanakesh Patel and Mantapuri Raju Goud distributed bread and fruits to patients at the government hospital.
