Charminar Express to originate, terminate at Chennai Beach temporarily

Due to redevelopment work at Chennai Egmore station, the Charminar Express will temporarily operate from Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram. The South Central Railway said the change will be in effect for select dates between February and April.

Hyderabad: Due to station redevelopment works at Chennai Egmore, the Hyderabad – Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Express will terminate/originate from Chennai Beach (instead of Tambaram).

The SCR in a press release informed the passengers that Train No. 12759 Tambaram – Hyderabad Charminar Express will originate from Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram from February 4 to April 5.

Train No. 12760 Hyderabad – Tambaram Charminar will terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Tambaram from February 3 to April 4.
