Redevelopment work at Secunderabad Railway Station is progressing rapidly with 46 per cent completion achieved under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The Rs 714.73-crore project includes a new air concourse, parking for 200 vehicles, and modern passenger amenities, scheduled for completion by 2026
The Hafizpet railway station in Hyderabad is being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Scheme at a cost of Rs 29.21 crore. With 80% work completed, it will feature modern amenities like lifts, escalators, waiting halls, and divyangjan-friendly facilities by 2025
Upon completion, the station which is about 3 km from Secunderabad will boast a modern facade, an improved circulating area and advanced passenger amenities
These railway stations are being developed with modern architecture and world-class facilities will serve as Hyderabad centre with focus on long-term planning
