Chevella bus tragedy: Two girls orphaned after parents die in crash

Hyderabad: In a heartbreaking turn after the Chevella RTC bus accident, two young girls were left orphaned after their parents died on the spot in the crash on Monday.
The victims, identified as Bandappa and Lakshmi from Hajipur village of Yalal mandal in Vikarabad district, lost their lives when a gravel-laden truck crashed into an RTC bus near Mirzaguda.
Their children, Bhavani and Shiva Leela miraculously survived the crash.
Eyewitnesses said the children were seen weeping beside the lifeless bodies of their parents, a sight that moved everyone present.
The tragedy occurred when an overloaded tipper collided with an overcrowded RTC bus traveling from Tandur to Hyderabad. The impact crushed the front portion of the bus, killing 21 people, including both drivers, and leaving several others seriously injured. The gravel load from the truck spilled over the bus, trapping many passengers underneath.
The scene at the spot turned tragic with cries for help and grief-stricken relatives rushing to the spot.
