Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to tour Adilabad, Nirmal districts on Monday

A Revanth Reddy will tour Adilabad and Nirmal to inaugurate projects worth Rs 1,200 crore, lay foundation stones for welfare and irrigation works, and review preparations for Godavari Pushkaralu

Adilabad/Nirmal: The Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will tour both Adilabad and Nirmal districts to inaugurate developmental projects on Monday.

As per a schedule released by officials, Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stone to integrated residential school for students from SC, ST and BC communities in Boath Assembly segment and a lift irrigation project at Pipri village in Bazarhathnoor mandal and inaugurate developmental projects worth Rs 1,200 crore as part of 99-days action plan launched by the government recently. He will address a public meeting.


The Chief Minister will then lay foundation stone for development works of the ancient Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam at Basar in and arrangements for ensuing Godavari Pushkaralu or mass holy bathing event slated for 2027 in Nirmal district. He will address another public meeting. The abode of goddess Saraswathi is going to be developed on many fronts spending Rs 250 crore.

Recently, in-charge Minister Jupally Krishna Rao along with advisor to the government Peddi Sudarshan Reddy convened a review meeting with Collectors and SPs over arrangements being made for the Chief Minister’s tour in Adilabad town. He instructed officials to make necessary arrangements to make the tour successful.

Meanwhile, cadres of the Congress are mobilizing people by hiring school and college buses from several parts of erstwhile Adilabad district.
