Nalgonda: Chilli powder, salt and rice for breakfast. This may sound shocking. But the hostel students of Mahatma Gandhi University were served the same for breakfast on Tuesday. Pictures of inmates of the Krishnaveni girls hostel of the university standing in line and images of rice, salt and chilli powder kept ready to be served, went viral on social media. As people started reacting to these images on social media, authorities gave various reasons, saying that the students themselves asked for the ‘special breakfast’. However, they said an inquiry would be ordered and those responsible will be punished.
