Chilly weather conditions grip Telangana; Adilabad’s Bela records lowest temperature

In Hyderabad, the lowest temperatures were recorded in areas close to BHEL where mercury fell to 11.7 degree Celsius closely followed by 11.8 degree Celsius at Rajendranagar

Hyderabad: Chilly weather conditions have continued to grip Hyderabad, its outskirts and in multiple districts of Telangana State on Monday night and in the early hours of Tuesday.

In Hyderabad, the lowest temperatures were recorded in areas close to BHEL where mercury fell to 11.7 degree Celsius closely followed by 11.8 degree Celsius at Rajendranagar.


In districts, the peak cold weather for this spell in Telangana State was recorded at Adilabad and Asifabad districts where the temperature hovered between 8 degree Celsius and 9 degree Celsius.

Bela in Adilabad recorded the lowest at 9.2 degree Celsius closely followed by 9.3 degree Celsius at Kohir in Sangareddy district.

Minimum temperatures at Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, Medak and Siddipet hovered between 9 degree Celsius and 11 degree Celsius.

Back in Hyderabad, weather was nippy in Uppal, Moula Ali, Nacharam, ECIL etc with Moula Ali recording the lowest of 12.4 degree Celsius in the early hours of Tuesday, based on the temperature data available at Telangana State Development Planning society (TSDPC).

The areas close to Gachibowli recorded the lowest of 13.1 degree Celsius, according to the TSDPS data.

Cold weather conditions also prevailed across multiple districts of Telangana State. In fact the TSDPS has issued an orange alert, which means temperatures will be between 4 degree Celsius and 10 degree Celsius, for districts in Adilabad, Sangareddy, Vikarabad and Medak.
