Hyderabad: People in Hyderabad and surrounding districts can expect to continue experiencing chilly and overcast weather conditions over the next two to three days as the IMD-Hyderabad has released a forecast of rains and low temperatures.

Under the influence of cyclonic storm Ditwah, a heavy rainfall alert ( 64.5 mm to 115.6 mm) has been issued in Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Nagarkurnool districts.

For Greater Hyderabad, the forecast is for light to moderate showers and chilly weather conditions, with minimum temperatures around 16 degree Celsius to 17 degree Celsius. The night temperatures between December 1 and December 6 are expected to hover between 15 degree Celsius and 16 degree Celsius.

Meanwhile, an independent weather forecaster from Hyderabad, T Balaji, said on Sunday that Hyderabad and neighbouring districts are having one of the most consistently cold winters in the last years.

“Owing to high clouds from cyclone Ditwah, even daytime temperatures have stopped significantly across Telangana. The Hyderabad city is recording 25 to 27 degree Celsius even in the presence of sunshine during afternoon and morning, the mercury is ranging between 11 degree Celsius and 14 degree Celsius, he posted on X.
