Megastar Chiranjeevi has said that the shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Godfather’ was disrupted because he underwent surgery to his right hand.
He interacted with fans’ associations who worked relentlessly during the pandemic offering emergency assistance to Covid-19 patients through oxygen banks that were set up by the Mega family across Telangana.
The megastar suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome. a common condition of pain and numbness on the arm. The doctors performed surgery and advised him 15-day bed rest. Chiranjeevi is likely to resume the shoot of ‘Godfather’ on November 1.
Directed by Mohan Raja, the movie is touted to be a political thriller and marks Chiranjeevi’s 153rd landmark film. The movie is a Telugu remake of Malayalam hit ‘Lucifer’.
