Adilabad: The two-day tour by Chowrasta Band in Mancherial, Asifabad and Adilabad districts ended on Sunday. They covered different parts of the three districts as part of their busking, a first-of-its-kind musical trip from Lambadipalli of Karimnagar to Adilabad.

During their tour, music director and singer Yashwanth Nag, who was the key member of the band, performed musical shows in coal belt town Ramakrishnapur, Mancherial, Asifabad, Jodeghat, Dhanora and Utnoor as part of their busking, enthralling audiences. They rendered their popular works “Maya Maya…” “Kanche Leni Desam…” and some new numbers as well.


Yashwanth said that the tour was taken up to showcase music performances and to spend in the nature of Mancherial, Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad district. He stated that they had collaborated with some tribal musicians and vocalists belonging to Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad districts. He added that they enjoyed the trip to the district and thanked locals for extending their support to them.

Bulbul Sitara player Chunchu Guruvaiah and singer Priyanka were allowed to showcase their singing talent during a brief music show held in Mancherial town. The members of the band were felicitated by organisers of a Ganesh Pandal in Reddy Colony.
