Visakhapatnam: There is need for clamping health emergency in Andhra Pradesh, according to former MLA and State BJP vice-president P Vishnukumar Raju.
Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he described the imposition of night curfew in the State as a ‘Tuglak action’. The government should ensure there was no shortage of medicines and exempt medicines from GST for three months, he demanded.
He also felt that the state government was more keen on demolishing buildings and removal of petty shops and did not show the same interest to control COVID-19. He wondered how it could conduct examinations for students during COVID time.
