CM directs officials to ensure top facilities for Khelo India Games

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy instructed senior officials to ensure that the best facilities are in place for the Khelo India Games, which the City is hosting this December.
At a review meeting held here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister was briefed by senior officials, including Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to State Government, and Mrs Soni Bala Devi, SATGVC & MD, about the preparations in the presence of Telangana Sports Minister V. Srihari and SATG chairman Shivasena Reddy.
The Chief Minister appealed to the officials to inspect all the existing stadia where the Games’ disciplines will be held and take necessary remedial measures to maintain international standards at the venues.
Mr Reddy also suggested decentralisation of various key subjects in the conduct of the Khelo India Games featuring 20 disciplines and that Arjuna Awardees, Telangana Sports Hub Board members and Telangana Olympic Association should also be involved in the process.
