Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Parliamentary Party meeting will be chaired by the party president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan at 11 am on Sunday. The members of Parliament representing the State in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will attend the meeting.
With the Parliament session scheduled to commence from Monday, the Chief Minister will discuss and direct the MPs on the strategies to be adopted as well as issues to be raised by them in the Parliament. Issues on the agenda are said to include the Centre’s policy on paddy procurement from the State, river water distribution, sanction of funds for pending projects, release of pending funds to various development programmes and also pending issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
