Rajanna Sircilla: Stage is all set for inauguration of double bedroom houses constructed near Mandepalli of Thangallapalli mandal.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate double bedroom houses and distribute house pattas to beneficiaries on Sunday.

Besides 2BHK, Institute of Driving and Research Center (IDRC), Integrated District Collectorate complex, government nursing college and modern agriculture market yard will also be inaugurated by the Chief Minister.

To fulfill the permanent house dream of the poor from Sircilla town, around 1,320 houses were constructed by spending Rs 87.37 crore at Mandepalli. G+2 houses were constructed in a 27 acres area along with all facilities.

Each house contains two bedrooms, hall, kitchen and two toilets. About 12 houses were constructed in each block in an extent of 2,200 square feet area.

An amount of Rs 6.05 lakh was spent on each house to take up construction as well as arranging basic facilities. An additional amount of Rs 8.12 crore was spent to construct the compound wall, main entrance gate, road dividers, and footpaths in the housing complex on the lines of a gated community.

To provide safe and protected drinking water, Mission Bhagiratha water connection is also given to each house. Instead of hanging wires openly from electric poles, power connections were given to houses through underground cable.

Besides three open gyms, two parks are also developed in different places to ensure children can play games.

On the other hand, both State and Central governments established IDRC in 20 acres of land by spending Rs 22.82 crore in Mandepalli to give training in driving. The first training center in the State, IDRC is developed with international standards.

The building has been divided into three blocks—classrooms block, administration block and workshop. The modern 3.25 km track consists of both six and four lane tracks. Besides five vehicles, three driving simulators are also arranged for indoor training.

Out of three simulators, one is a heavy vehicle simulator and two are light vehicle. The students who sit in the simulators will get a feeling of driving a vehicle on an actual road since 3D screens will be fixed in simulators.

A total of 400 students will get training in a 30-day driving training programme. There is a hostel facility for 180 students.
