Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is expected to fly to Wayanad on Tuesday evening to participate in AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s nomination on Wednesday.

The Congress is planning to make Priyanka Gandhi’s electoral debut a major event. Accordingly, instructions have been issued to senior leaders and Chief Ministers, including Revanth Reddy to participate in the nomination programme.

AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge, and party senior leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will attend the programme. However, party sources in the State unit said, there was no clarity on the Chief Minister’s participation in the nomination programme.

“He is down with cough and cold. As of now, there is still no confirmation,” a party leader said.
