CM Revanth Reddy gets stranded in overloaded lift at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad
As per available information, the incident occurred when the Chief Minister who arrived at the venue to attend an event, boarded the lift to go to the upper floors of the star hotel.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy was briefly stranded in a lift when the elevator car developed a technical glitch at Novotel Hotel in Shamshabad on Tuesday.
As per available information, the incident occurred when the Chief Minister who arrived at the venue to attend an event, boarded the lift to go to the upper floors of the star hotel.
While the capacity of the lift was only eight persons, as many as 13 persons reportedly boarded it on the ground floor. However, it is learnt that the lift developed a glitch and stopped midway between the ground and first floors.
The Chief Minister’s security officials immediately alerted the hotel staff, who opened the lift door . He was further taken to the second floor in another lift.
The security officials and the hotel staff breathed a sigh of relief.
