CMC razes 19 illegal buildings in enforcement drive

CMC enforcement teams demolished 19 unauthorised under‑construction buildings across three zones in Cyberabad, while notices were served to others and further action is pending under prescribed procedures.

Hyderabad: Town planning enforcement teams demolished 19 unauthorised under-construction buildings within Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) limits on Saturday as part of an enforcement drive.

According to a press release, CMC teams identified 26 unauthorised constructions and served 12 notices during the drive across three zones. The remaining seven buildings will face further action under prescribed procedures. Of the demolished structures, nine were in Serilingampally Zone, six in Quthbullapur Zone and four in Kukatpally Zone.

Teams were continuing field-level identification and enforcement to ensure compliance with building regulations. All identified unauthorised constructions would face necessary action under prescribed procedures and applicable regulations, the release said.
