CMP-2050: HMDA holds review meeting on Comprehensive Mobility Plan

Hyderabad: HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed on Tuesday convened a key stakeholder meeting on the draft Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) report for Hyderabad Metropolitan Area 2050 at HMRL Office in the city.
The CMP is aimed at developing a sustainable, long-term transport strategy and identifying effective investment programmes in line with the National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP) 2006/2014 and other plans of HMDA, GHMC, HMRL, and related stakeholder agencies.
The HMDA Commissioner directed the stakeholders to submit their feedback, suggestions, and departmental recommendations for incorporation and updating of the draft CMP report.
The CMP-2050 aims to create an efficient, safe, and sustainable transport network to meet the mobility needs of the growing Hyderabad metropolitan region and to guide future investments for balanced urban development, the HMDA said.
