Hyderabad: Students at the CMR Group of Institutions gained invaluable insights into the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence on July 19 as the campus hosted the AI Bharat Utsav. This comprehensive one-day event served as a crucial platform for young minds to immerse themselves in the latest AI advancements, connect with industry leaders, and envision their roles in shaping India’s AI landscape.

A guest keynote by Derick Jose, was followed by a panel discussion fostering engaging dialogue and allowing students to hear varied viewpoints on critical AI topics. Subsequent talks by Tarini Padmanabhuni, CEO of Axory AI, and Siri Chandra Valasa, CEO of SRIA Infotech Pvt Ltd, provided practical insights into AI’s entrepreneurial and industrial applications, inspiring many budding innovators.

In a Distinguished Lecture, Dr. E.G. Rajan delved into the deeper technical and theoretical aspects of AI, enriching the students’ foundational knowledge.

Concurrent sessions were also held, catering to different aspirations: “AI for Job Creators,” “AI for Job Seekers,” and “AI for Faculties.” These specialised tracks allowed students to gain targeted knowledge, whether they envisioned developing AI solutions, leveraging AI for career advancement, or understanding AI’s impact on education. The interactive sessions equipped them with practical strategies and a clearer understanding of market demands.

The day concluded with a stimulating Roundtable with VCs, offering a rare opportunity for students to grasp investor perspectives on AI ventures.
