Hyderabad: CMR College of Engineering & Technology (CMRCET) and Skyy Rider Institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up a State-of-the-art skill development centre on the CMR campus in Hyderabad.
The centre is to up-skill the core concepts of engineering students in the latest emerging areas like Electric Hybrid Vehicles ( EHV) , Drone Design, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, CAD Design, Data Science, ML and Python, Java, and other advanced skill sectors.
The institutions will offer short term, long term courses in various fields of engineering and create job opportunities for students in the city.
The courses will be in two types- Short term Skill Internship programs which will have duration of two weeks to three months, and long term training programs with durations from four months to twelve months skill internship for final year students and graduates.
The skill development centre also provides courses to students from different colleges. The centre will train students, and also create job opportunities in coming years for all the participants. The skill development centre will host several free workshops to help students to learn and become certified in various skills.
