Khammam: Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques were distributed to beneficiaries at MP Nama Nageswara Rao’s camp office here on Monday.
DCC Bank chairman K Nagabhushanam handed the cheques worth Rs 18.5 lakh to around 38 beneficiaries to whom financial assistance was sanctioned at the recommendation of the MP.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Nageswara Rao has been taking special care for sanction of CMRF assistance by coordinating with mandal and village elected members and without any involvement of middlemen.
The beneficiaries thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for sanctioning financial assistance to them. ZP vice chairperson M Dhanalakshmi, TRS leader M Baby Swarnakumari, DCCB director A Venkateshwar Reddy and others were present.
