Hyderabad: The entertainment industry seems to have been shook by the increasing number of Covid-19 cases among the film fraternity. Well, after Lakshmi Manchu, the latest addition seems to be superstar Mahesh Babu who developed mild symptoms of Covid and is currently in isolation.

The actor tested positive for Covid-19 on his return from a winter vacation abroad. Sharing the news, the ‘Maharshi’ star wrote on social media platforms: “Despite taking all the necessary precautions, I’ve tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms. I’ve isolated myself at home and have been following medical guidance.”

The actor also requested those who came in contact with him to get themselves tested.

Soon after the actor posted about his condition, his colleagues in the Telugu cinema industry wished the actor a speedy recovery.

One of the first actors sending out a heart-warming message for Mahesh was actor Anushka Shetty. “Take care Mahesh Babu garu… wishing you speedy recovery,” the ‘Baahubali’ actor wrote.

Addresing Mahesh as his anna, actor Jr NTR also wished the ‘Dookudu’ actor’s speedy recovery. “Get well soon Anna. Sending you strength and prayers,” Jr NTR wrote.

Adding on, actors like Raashii Khanna, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sushanth took to the comments section to wish Mahesh Babu a speedy recovery.
