Collector issues show-cause notices to 10 officials in Telangana’s Khammam
Khammam District Collector Anudeep Durisetty issued show-cause notices to ten officials for skipping mandatory election training without prior intimation. Calling election duty a crucial responsibility, he directed them to explain why action should not be taken for their absence
Khammam: District Collector Anudeep Durisetty on Monday issued show-cause notices to 10 officials who were absent from the election training programme.
The District Collector expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of 10 officials from the training organised as part of the gram panchayat elections without providing any prior information.
Stating that election duties were very crucial and training classes were organized to prepare the staff to perform them properly, the Collector issued show-cause notices to the 10 officials who did not attend these. He told them to answer why strict action should not be taken against them.
