Collector Rajarshi Shah inaugurated the Waste to Wonder exhibition in Adilabad, highlighting artefacts made by municipal staff from discarded materials. The event aims to promote environmental awareness and inspire towns to explore creative ways of reusing waste.
Adilabad: Collector Rajarshi Shah inaugurated an exhibition titled Waste to Wonder, showcasing the creativity of municipal staff, at Gandhi Park here on Saturday.
Shah lauded the civic body staff for creating thought-provoking artefacts from discarded materials including plastic water bottles, soft drink bottles, vehicle wheels and other waste. He observed that every town should host similar exhibitions to promote environmental protection. “The definition of waste would change if such novel initiatives were taken up,” he remarked.
Municipal Commissioner CVN Raju, SC Corporation Executive Director Manohar and others were present.
