Adilabad: A five-member committee was constituted to probe into alleged making of Instagram reels by doctors and nurses while discharging duties on the premises Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad during duty hours.
RGUKT-Adilabad director Dr Jaisingh Rathod said that the committee comprising three professors and deputy medical superintendents would submit a report after an inquiry within three days. Action would be initiated against responsible nurses and doctors based on the findings of the report.
Reels on Instagram revealed that certain doctors and nurses created videos in operation theatre and various wards, surprising many. The doctors and nurses drew flak for converting the institution into a studio and neglecting duties. People criticized the doctors for using the medical college-cum-hospital for making reels.
