Khammam: A district level committee consisting of senior police officials was set up to monitor health status of police personnel who were tested positive for the covid-19, informed Commissioner of Police (CP) Vishnu S Warrier.
He held a video conference here on Thursday with the personnel who were in quarantine at home and in hospitals to boost their morale and advised them to think positively, take rest, medicines and proper food regularly.
The CP further informed that the district level committee has been supplying medicines, dry fruits and monitoring the patient’s health condition. The committee has also been holding video conferences with the covid patients along with doctors to give medical advice to them.
Warrier asked officials in the committee to consult private hospital managements to ensure availability of ICU beds, ambulances and oxygen to police personnel in case of emergency.
