Commodore Sujay Kapoor (Retd) assumes charge as Director (Production) of BDL
Commodore Sujay Kapoor (Retd) has taken charge as Director (Production) at Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a premier Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence. With over three decades of service in the Indian Navy, he brings extensive expertise in armament production, indigenisation, and strategic defence studies.

Hyderabad: Commodore Sujay Kapoor (Retd) has assumed charge as Director (Production) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a premier Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence.
Prior to his appointment at BDL, Commodore Kapoor served as Commodore (Armament Production and Indigenisation) at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi. A Mechanical Engineer with an MBA, an MSc and an M Phil in Defence and Strategic Studies, he brings with him over three decades of diverse experience in the Indian Navy.
During his career, Commodore Kapoor played an instrumental role in the indigenisation of anti-submarine rockets along with highly complex fuzes and their launchers, anti-missile defence rockets and their launchers, critical missile and torpedo explosives including safety and arming mechanisms / fuzes, in association with Ordnance Factories /DPSUs and DRDO labs.
An alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and Naval War College, Goa, Commodore Kapoor combines operational expertise with strategic acumen.
