Hyderabad: Acrylic Cricket Club secretary Chitti Sridhar has lodged a complaint with the Additional Director General of Police (CID, Telangana) against Mr. Sardar Daljeet Singh, vice-president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (and currently acting president of HCA).
Sridhar alleged that Mr. Daljeet Singh is the owner of two clubs — Khalsa CC and Ameerpet CC — which is in violation of HCA’s constitution.
“In 2023, Mr. Daljeet concealed the fact that he has owned these two clubs for decades, thereby defeating the very purpose of the Supreme Court order passed in Civil Appeal (4235/2014) by deceit and malafide intent,” Sridhar stated.
He further said that the HCA constitution prohibits proxy voting, and therefore, such ownership amounts to a violation. “By all means, these office bearers have committed a crime and are liable for disqualification,” Sridhar appealed.

“I am enclosing copies of fee receipts from 2018 and other supporting documents for your kind information, to take necessary action,” he added.
Sridhar also recalled that the Supreme Court-appointed one-member committee, Justice (Retd.) L. Nageswara Rao, had earlier suspended 57 clubs on grounds of conflict of interest and barred their participation in the HCA elections held in October 2023.
