Rao said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy did injustice to all sections of people after coming to power. When the Opposition parties raised the issues of the public, the ruling government was suppressing them by filing cases and sending police to their homes. Accusing the government of denying a voice to BRS MLAs in the assembly, the former minister said they were not given opportunities to speak in the assembly at the behest of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister himself was telling lies on several key issues. Citing the year-end crime report released by the Hyderabad City Police, Rao said the crime rate had increased by 41 per cent in the State capital compared to the previous year which stands as an example of how peace was disrupted after Congress came to power.

Earlier, Harish Rao also visited Sarva Siksha Abhiyan employees who were staging a relay hunger strike in Medak demanding a solution for their issues. Stating that Revanth Reddy came to power by promising to address all issues of SSA employees, he said the Chief Minister was not even responding to their issues now.

MLC Sheri Subhash Reddy, former MLA M Padma Devendar Reddy, and others were present.
