Congress has no future in Telangana: Harish Rao
Harish Rao said the elected representatives and leaders of the party were joining TRS since they had come to a conclusion that the party had no future here.

Sangareddy: Finance Minister T Harish Rao said people had lost faith in Congress party. Stating that the Congress will never come into power in the State again as they failed to live up to the expectations of people in the past, Rao said the elected representatives and leaders of the party were joining Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) since they had come to a conclusion that the party had no future here.
Stating that Telangana is showing the way for development to the rest of India with various welfare and development schemes, the Minister said that the entire nation was looking towards Telangana.
Several leaders and elected representatives of Congress joined TRS in the presence of Harish Rao, who visited Sangareddy town to participate in various programmes. Since the TRS government has transformed the entire State within six years, Rao said that the past governments had failed to do the same in the previous seven decades.
Elaborating on various welfare and development programmes introduced by the TRS government, the Minister said that they had recently sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for the development of bus station in Sadasivpet. Four Councillors of Sadasivpet Municipality joined TRS apart from several elected representatives of BJP. Harish Rao said that over 200 people from Opposition parties had joined the ruling TRS.
Former Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar, TRS leaders K Butchi Reddy, Vijayendar Reddy and others were present.
