Adilabad Mahila Congress president Manchikatla Ashamma files papers for Medak-Adilabad-Karimnagar-Nizamabad MLC graduates constituency

Karimnagar: Adilabad Mahila Congress president Manchikatla Ashamma filed her nomination for the Graduates’ constituency MLC election.

She filed papers for the Medak-Adilabad-Karimnagar-Nizamabad MLC graduates constituency as a Congress rebel candidate on Thursday.

It may be recalled that the Congress had already announced the candidature of V Narender Reddy, the owner of Alphores educational institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashamma said that she has been in politics for the last 30 years and was elected as Mandal Praja Parishad president in 1995 on the Congress ticket.

She decided to contest in the graduates’ constituency MLC election on behalf of the Congress.
