Hyderabad: Accusing the Congress party of deceiving people of Telangana, Rajya Sabha member and senior BJP leader K Laxman alleged that the Congress government had totally failed in implementing the Six Guarantees promised to the people of the State.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Laxman said the Congress party came to power by making several promises, but it failed to deliver it even after ten months. “Congress is trying to divert the attention of the people to delay implementation of poll promises. It seems it has no intention to fulfil the promises made to the people of Telangana,”he alleged.

Stating that under the Prime Minister Kisan Nidhi, Rs.20,000 crore had been deposited in the accounts of 9.3 crore farmers as part of the 17th installment, he said in Telangana, the Congress government had so far not started paying Rythu Bandhu scheme amounts, he said.
