Medak: Congress leaders and workers attempted to attack BRS leader and former Narayankhed MLA M Bhupal Reddy at Pedda Shankarampet on Tuesday. The issue erupted when BRS workers and Congress workers engaged in verbal duels in a local WhatsApp group.

Later, the Congress workers staged a protest at the residence of former MPP and BRS leader Jangam Srinivas, holding him responsible for the verbal duel, when Bhupal Reddy came to the support of Srinivas. The irate Congress workers threw coconuts at the former MLA’s car.
