Construction worker impaled by iron rods in Domalguda mishap
A construction worker from Rajasthan sustained critical injuries after falling onto iron rods at an under-construction site in Domalguda, Hyderabad. The DRF team used cutting tools to rescue him, but two rods remain lodged in his body.

Hyderabad: A construction worker is battling for life after multiple iron rods pierced through his body when he fell from height at an under-construction site in Domalguda on Sunday.
The man, Chaghan, a native of Rajasthan, was working at an under-construction building in Domalguda when he accidentally fell down. He landed on some rods that were kept on the floor, and a couple of large iron rods pierced through his body.
Upon receiving information, the Domalguda police reached the spot and alerted the DRF and medical teams. The DRF personnel, with the help of an iron-cutting tool, cut the rods before shifting the man to a nearby hospital.
Two pieces of rod continue to remain in Chaghan’s body. Doctors at the hospital are expected to perform surgery to remove the iron rods.
